What We Use

Progressive Phonics

Progressive Phonics

Progressive Phonics

Progressive Phonics is an all-in-one reading program that includes alphabet books, beginner through advanced phonics readers, and handwriting worksheets. The program teaches both phonics rules and essential sight words, along with plurals, contractions, and basic punctuation.

We use only the main lessons from the Alphabetti alphabet series and phonics programs. Our reading program isn't worksheet based. Instead, teachers pair these lessons with outdoor exploration, hands-on experiences, and games.

Minimalist Math

Progressive Phonics

Progressive Phonics

Created by Research Parent, Minimalist Math covers the full breadth of mathematical concepts without overwhelming repetition. Each grade level includes 36 weekly worksheets with 10 carefully selected problems that progress in difficulty throughout the year, covering topics from basic operations and word problems to geometry, fractions, and measurement.

Students complete 3-4 problems per day as independent work, with teachers on-site to help. This efficient curriculum gives us more time for hands-on life skills math like working with money and measuring.

Wild Math

Progressive Phonics

Wild Math

A nature-based math curriculum created by Rachel Tidd of Wild Learning. Wild Math uses hands-on exploration, natural materials, and real-world connections to build early number sense, patterns, and problem-solving skills.

We use this curriculum primarily with preschool and kindergarten students to build math skills before they're ready for the minimalistic approach.
